Purpose of the article: 
Client not able to find older (3 months old) emails on her outlook.

Category: Emails

Steps
- Login to 365 admin portal
-Check Email trace 

      -O365 > Exchange> Message trace> Start Trace> Customize the search(Date range, time, to and from recipients
 If not found, ask client if can search through online archive.
If user cant find it anywhere in online, next step
Reach out to Microsoft Support (support@mail.support.microsoft.com) 
-Example email from Microsoft


eDiscovery Tool
365 Admin - Compliance > eDiscovery > Search> edit the search option > run report  
-Create eDiscovery (Standard) case
-Optional> to Add members to the case

-Set the mailbox to the client.
-Set the date range and the sender
