Lilian and Jasmine are the office managers of the office. Any admin matters, we will need to inform them.
Stanley is the IT manager. He is geographically located in HK. Any IT matters, we will need to inform him.
Arrival and departure of engineer, Stanley needs to be aware.
During onsite, we need to carry out his extra tasks, and ask him if there are more tasks. In addition to the standard tasks.
Booking of any meeting rooms for IT matters, office managers need to be aware.
Entering server room, both IT manager and office manager needs to be aware.
Jin is the main engineer for onsite for this client.
We do not control any of their software. From a client support perspective, it will only be deployment and management of onsite sessions and onsite tasks. For any tasks that involves internal remote support, we will require Stanley and his team to assist.
We no longer hold access cards for this office. (We used to hold 2 access cards, but as part of their security policy updates, as per the client instruction, we have returned the 2 access cards. As of now, any office access will require a staff from Stonepeak, usually the office managers. This needs to be taken into ops planning when carrying out overnight/weekend exercises such as building power downs etc.
Every fortnightly, there is a scheduled onsite session. It happens on a Tuesday, 9am – 11am.
For door access, we have a separate vendor for that (TJ System, part of AEQON). Occasionally, they will carry out scheduled maintenance on the door access control panel, which is located inside the server room. This needs to be informed to both IT manager and Office managers. As it involves work inside the server room. The door access control panel is not inside the server rack, but on a wall in the server room. The point of contact for TJ systems is Thet.
They have 3 group meeting rooms. The biggest is the board room, which is the nearest to the front entrance of the office. Followed by meeting room A and meeting room B. As of now, both boardroom and meeting room A is fitted with Video Conference devices and hence capable of video conferencing. Meeting room B is used by VIPs to take ad hoc phone calls in privacy, since all 3 of these rooms are almost soundproof.
This office also has 2 small booths for individuals who wish to take calls in private. It has a seat and desk and light and charging port.
This office has 3 printers. 1 is a big standalone printer with wheels. The remaining 2 printers are small box printers. All 3 are functional. Printer config is done by Stanley. If an onsite task is required, such as jammed tray, our engineer will carry out the tasks.
Occasionally, some laptops might exhibit faulty motherboard symptoms such as the inability to charge, or unable to power on. In these cases, inform Stanley and lodge a ticket to the laptop brand’s IT support. Also, check if that laptop is covered by warranty. Proceed to book an onsite session with the IT support, for them to come and do hardware repairs. All these are to be updated to Stanley.
