IBL | PaperCut – Create a new internal user

Steps
Step 1. Open any internet web browser (e.g. Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc.) and in the URL toolbar enter the below to access the PaperCut administration portal: (Login from internal network only)
Step 2. Enter the login credentials below for the PaperCut Administrator account and press Log in:
Username – in DVLS
Password – in DVLS
Step 3. Using the navigation toolbar on the left select Users from the list
Step 4. From the Action toolbar located on the right side of the user directory select Create Internal User …
Step 5. Fill in all the data fields below with the new staff member or users’ details:
Example = John
Smith

1. Username – johnsmith (first name + last name in lowercase letters with no spaces)

2. Full Name – John Smith (first name + last name in standard format)
-
-
4. Password – 12345678 (this password can be used for every account as this does not give any
access to sensitive information + minimum
length = 8 characters)

5. Verify Password – 12345678 (repeat password to confirm)
All other fields can be left blank
Step 6. Press Register to create user
Step 7. Return to the User directory to confirm that new user is present
